Writing and Music were passions, so after marriage to a seafarer, Lyn concentrated on writing/directing musicals and cantatas for church and school groups. Writing material for her own three children eventually led Lyn to produce volumes of performance poetry entitled Spotlight, Limelight, Highlights, Starlight, Footlights; monologues entitled Aussie Short, Small Talk and Choices (biblical characters); and skits for private or classroom use entitled Classic Duos, Dazzling Duo, Skids and Character Chats. Books of Christian verse, Promises I and Promises 2, are also available for anyone 5 years to adult.

For six years, Lyn produced GROW, a literary magazine for young adolescents. This developed into GROW- Under the Southern Cross, an anthology and CD of stories and poems featuring the writing of some of Australia’s best Christian writers for children.

Now widowed, Lyn lives at Mt Nebo and remains actively interested in the acting and music careers of her adult children, and in helping care for her three grandchildren. When not writing, or lecturing aboard cruise ships, Lyn still enjoys giving workshops and performances in and around Brisbane.
